About

Ben Scheuer — the builder behind the system.

Agentic-AI systems builder. Enterprise AI transformation leader. I designed the orchestration system that plans, builds, and ships the apps on this site — and I lead the same kind of work at a global scale by day.

For the full career narrative — VF, Indra, Younity, Vans, Keymark/Simpson, and Botan.ai — see Experience.

01 / OPENING

The builder

I build AI systems — and lately, systems that build AI systems. I sit at an unusual intersection: I lead enterprise generative-AI transformation for a global company, and I personally design, build, and ship production AI apps end-to-end.

The whole site is built around one thesis: judgment × build-capability. In a world where you can build anything, knowing what to build is the strategic edge.

02 / WHY I BUILD

Captivated when it was impossible

At Colorado School of Mines I watched early autonomous-driving challenges — robots running classical, prescriptive ML that would drive straight off a cliff about ten feet into the course. It felt almost impossible that anyone would even keep trying.

Fast-forward to Waymo. I've been captivated by AI since it was "impossible" — a front-row seat to its arc from curiosity to reality. That's why I build with it now: the fastest way to understand what AI can really do is to ship something real with it.

03 / ENTERPRISE

Enterprise AI leadership

As Senior Program Manager, AI at VF Corporation, I own global generative-AI strategy, governance, and scaled deployment across Timberland, Vans, The North Face, and Dickies — CAD-to-render pipelines, AI on-model imagery, AI social campaigns, and AI-personalized wholesale decks. Results: 2× speed-to-market and an immediate 30% content-cost cut, on a roadmap toward 80%+.

04 / EDUCATION

The roots of judgment × build-capability

My B.S. in Engineering at Colorado School of Mines wasn't a narrow, single-discipline degree — it was a broad, cross-disciplinary systems engineering program. Its whole point: the ability to rapidly dissect complex systems and devise new solutions. That is the systems-thinking foundation behind how I build.

My M.S. in Engineering Technology & Management is a Master of Science — a highly technical, rigorous, MBA-equivalent program that is more technical than a standard MBA. That's the business and strategy framework — the strategic-judgment layer on top of the engineering foundation.

Together, they're the root of the site's thesis: engineering systems-thinking to know how to build, strategic depth to know what to build.
